Your clipboard.
Your Mac.
This policy explains GorgiCM’s local storage and the separate services used for App Store purchases, support email, and this website.
1. Local clipboard history
After you enable capture, GorgiCM can save copied text, images, file references, source app names, dates, labels, and previews on your Mac. Clipboard contents, labels, and previews are encrypted at rest. Identifiers, ordering timestamps, approximate file sizes, entry counts, and some settings are observable metadata.
The app does not send history to a developer server, sync it to a cloud account, include advertising or analytics SDKs, or create a GorgiCM user account. The app has no inbound or outbound network entitlement; Apple’s StoreKit service separately handles purchases.
2. Authentication and limits
A non-syncing key in this Mac’s Keychain protects history. Touch ID or your Mac’s password authenticates access. The default keeps the authenticated session available until you lock history or quit. You can choose authentication whenever history opens, or after the Mac unlocks.
With capture consent and an active trial or unlock, new copies may be saved encrypted while app history is locked. Capture pauses while the Mac is locked or asleep. Encryption does not protect a Mac compromised by malware, or prevent other apps from reading the shared system clipboard. Handoff settings apply to copies made outside GorgiCM.
3. Retention, deletion, and recovery
Saved history remains until you delete individual items or clear history after authenticating. There is no automatic retention limit for saved history. You can pause capture in Settings; resuming starts with the next copy. A full pending inbox or oversized copy can prevent capture.
History is excluded from normal app backups and depends on the original Keychain key. This version has no history export or key-recovery feature. Losing the key makes history unrecoverable. Restoring an App Store purchase restores a license, not your history. Deleting app records does not guarantee erasure from every storage snapshot.
4. macOS permissions
macOS controls clipboard access. Optional Accessibility approval lets direct paste send Command-V to the chosen destination app. No screen recording, microphone, camera, contacts, or location permission is required. File references depend on the original files and macOS granting access.
5. Apple purchases
Starting the free 30-day trial, buying a one-time unlock, and restoring purchases use Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. Apple processes payment and account information under its own policies. GorgiCM checks verified transaction records locally; it has no developer-operated purchase-verification server and does not send clipboard history with a purchase.
The trial does not renew or charge automatically. Expiry stops new capture, ordered promotion, and direct paste; authenticated viewing, manual Copy, and deletion of saved items remain available. Apple separately manages diagnostics you choose to share with Apple.
6. Optional support correspondence
Contact support@gorgicm.gorgination.com. The app opens your mail application; it does not send a message automatically. We receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to send and use them to answer your request and necessary follow-up. Never send passwords, clipboard databases, payment details, or authentication codes.
Support email is forwarded through Forward Email and received in Gmail. Those providers process correspondence to deliver and store it. We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve the request and necessary follow-up or legal obligations. You may request deletion by emailing support; provider retention and legal obligations may limit deletion.
7. This website
The product, support, and privacy pages are hosted through OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare. Providers process requests and operational information such as IP addresses, browser details, request times, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Hosting retention is governed by their services. We have not added analytics, advertising scripts, contact forms, or uploads to these pages.
Opening a website or email application uses that service’s own privacy practices. This website does not receive your app’s clipboard history.
8. Questions and changes
Email support for privacy questions, correction requests, or deletion requests concerning correspondence you sent us. Local clipboard records are managed within the app. This policy will be updated if the product’s actual data handling changes.
